With reference; to Colonial Office letter of the
27th April 1934, No.33726/34, regarding the site of the
proposed new Naval Hospital at Hong Kong, I am commanded
by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint
you, for the information of the Secretary of State for
the Colonies, that My Lords are still not yet in a
position to make the necessary financial provision for
the erection of the new Hospital, and I am to request
that the Admiralty option on the site at Stubbs Road may
be renewed by the Government of Hong Kong for a further
period of one year from the 1st April 1935, in accordance
with the arrangement sanctioned by the Secretary of State
in Colonial Office letter of the 29th July 1933,
